September in a nutshell

Here it goes: 1. Had a great birthday party for Jackson with some of his friends. A party with friends was a first for him. It was a blast. Made tie dyed shirts and ate cupcakes. 2. Will rode his tractor naked. Loved it. 3. Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Lucy took Jackson and Mom to their local apple orchard. Jackson fell asleep in the car (which was like a 5 min drive, literally). After a quick nap, we picked some apples. Jackson got to sit on Grandpa's shoulders. Fun times, check out the video (http://youtu.be/DKErYinfR84). 4. Back in Chicago Daddy and Mama took the boys to another apple farm. Same as last year (check it out here). Pumpkins were picked, animals were fed and delicious pumpkin doughnuts were consumed. Jackson got lost for about 5 minutes, it felt like an eternity. All were found and all is good, especially when you have fresh doughnuts. 5. Went to our neighborhood park district fall festival again this year (remember last year). Blow up gauntlet thing was a HUGE hit. Pumpkins were "picked". And a hot dog was consumed.
