Lately Jackson has been really interested in our cameras. We have an older, smaller point and shoot digital that we let him use on occasion. Here is an exhibit of Jackson's photos from the past month or so. Please bare with us on this particular post. This post is a way for us to document and remember Jackson's initial love of cameras and photography. We understand this is for us and not so much for others. All the photos are taken by Jackson (unless noted otherwise).

Hi, there.
This concludes Jackson's first photo expose.
Jackson is 3 yrs old and full of energy, love and happiness, unless he stubs his toe. Lately, he has became very independent, which is amazing to witness as a parent. Unless one wants to get out the door when said child is not listening and abusing independence (which = Mom and Dad learning a lot about patience and understanding because he really is only 3). Jackson picks up the most random things around the house. Most recent pick-ups: "Hey" (yelling it loudly in an obnoxious way to get attention or to show that he doesn't like what you are saying), "ya" (used in place of "you", example, "Mom, I think I need ya" or "Mom, I will help ya"), "Will is not big. He's a baby" (Jackson said this to Grandpa after Grandpa called Will "Big Will." Jackson refers to Will as "baby Will" and of course we talk about Will, the baby, around the house), etc. Will is in love with Jackson, and I can see a friendship forming already. Jackson returns this affection. Often I will enter the room to find Jackson sitting next to Will. Usually, he's holding his hand or explaining something to him or just sitting next to him on the floor (like in watching TV, I'm bad but whatever). In the past 2-3 months (can't really remember) I haven't heard Jackson say "put that baby down". We love it. We love that Jackson is interested in cameras and photography. Time is flying by and at times we feel like we are missing certain opportunities, especially with 2 kids. Sometimes I get misty eyed thinking about our time in Ohio and how we had all the time in the world and we gave 100% to Jackson and his growth (his developmental and emotional growth as well as his interests). We strive for that but its hard and that's okay ... because we take advantage of certain things at certain times, like cameras! I can hear him saying in this photo below - "Take a picture Mom! I'm so silly!"
Couldn't leave these photos out (taken by Mom).
