We can't believe Will is already 6 months and counting. We had a great check-up with Dr. Potter. Will is still off the charts (are we really surprised people?). He weighs 24 lbs 4 oz and is 29 in tall. Just to give some of you a little perspective, Jackson weighed 19 lbs 6 oz and was 29.5 in at 6 months. A 5 pound difference. Jeez. Dr. Potter recommended us to a Pediatric Dermatologist for a blemish on his upper brow. We aren't too concerned but it certainly doesn't hurt to get it looked at and see what we can do about it. At first we thought it was a wart or mole but Dr. Potter thinks not and that it may be a hemangiomas (although he says it isn't presenting as one thus the need for a dermatologist). Anyway, we'll keep you posted on our findings. Back to the fun stuff. Will is starting to eat solids and likes it but not as much as Jackson did at this age. Will is teething and would much rather chew on bowls, toys, spoons, bibs, you name it. He likes foods especially when they are cold, pureed (of course) and with cereal mixed in. So far he has eaten apples, pears, peaches, peas, carrots, and sweet potatoes. Next up green beans, soy beans, bananas, mangoes, the list goes on. Take a look and enjoy our blue-eyed, little man!
