Jackson and his Skuut

Jackson is really loving his bike. Since the weather has been amazing lately we've been taking Jackson's bike out every afternoon. He is really picking up this whole balance bike thing. I was totally skeptical as first - the idea is that the child learns to scoot and balance before pedaling - thinking this is just one more thing that parents buy into. Fortunately we got our Skuut from a neighbor, free of charge. Sorry about all the video uploads. I have at least 2 more that I wanted to share but thought 5 was already excessive (warning: I might still post them). Video #3 (below) you can see at the end Jackson bites it. Lucky for us it was on the grass and he fell pretty well. No wounds. Jackson said "Whoa! What happened? *chuckled to himself* Can I do it again Mom?" "Sure buddy, get back at it." I wish I would have gotten that but I had to turn off the camera to make sure he was alright. Seemed like the right thing to do. See for yourself, I think Jackson might be riding a 2 wheeler next summer.
