birthday bash round 2!

We can't believe our little Mr. Man is now 2! We had a great weekend in Kaukauna, celebrating with family and friends. Thank you all for coming out to see Jackson. We all had a blast, especially Jackson! Once again, Jackson was fortunate enough to have both sets of grandparents at his birthday party (check out last years birthday party here). The g-parents were awesome and mom and dad can't thank them enough for all the hard work and cooking involved! Jackson made out with so great gifts - matchbox cars, choo choo trains and accessories, truck and drill set, Elmo books, undies, clothes, WI sippy cup (AWESOME!), stickers and much more.

Right after Jackson birthday we had his 2 yr check up. We all met his new doctor, we'll call him Dr. N. Things went well considering - we were really use to the quiet clinic/private practice of our old pediatrician, Dr. Thompson, and are now at a huge university hospital (pros and cons to both). But Dr. N was really nice! Jackson is now 34 lbs exactly and roughly 38 inches. The whole shebang went really well ... minus not getting a blood pressure reading because Jackson wasn't having the cuff thing. Oh well! No shots this time around (not until kindergarten) but seasonal/H1N1 will come soon.

We can't believe it is almost October, that fall is here, that Jackson is already 2, and that we are in a new city!
