An Evansville Easter

It has been way too long since I've updated the blog. I'll try to keep the captions short and sweet ... but get ready for the photos. All of these photos are from our trip to Evansville, IN for Easter with the Petrie and Bouressa families and of course Grandma Mary. At the time we were still in Columbus and it was a short 4-5 hour drive. The Petrie's just moved into a beautiful new home in IN but more importantly their new community is amazing. Kids in the neighborhood for Anna and Robert to play with, good schools, etc. It was great to catch up in the early spring after a hard late winter in Kaukauna. Everyone looked healthy and happy!

Wouldn't be Easter without coloring some eggs!

Anna, Becky and Jackson enjoying this awesome park nearby.

Anna is amazing ... and will be the best babysitter ever. She is so caring and attentive around Jackson (more so then other older kids or even adults). I never once worried about her with Jackson, not even around the stairs.

Like I said she is amazing!

Robert at his new favorite park.

I'd love to know what they were talking about.

A Bouressa/Carnot tradition of putting candy in Easter eggs. I've never seen it before. In my family we hunted for real eggs that we colored the day before. I'm not sure about additional candy since you get so much in the Easter basket ... Tony and I will have to think about how to alter this tradition.

Anna helping put Jackson to sleep. How precious is this?!?

Had, had, had to include this photo of the Carnot women. 3 generations all trying to decide how to decorate the Easter egg cake. It was delicious, esp the gooey part.
Grandma and Anna posing for the camera!

3 dudes!

We ...
never ...
get tired of ball!
