late summer recap

August was filled with more playground trips and a week long trip to Minnesota. The first set of photos are from a fun filled day at a cool Chicago park - The Oz Park. We spent most of our time at the old school wood playground, which was a huge hit among both Jackson and Will. Before calling it a day at the park we visited 4 statues of prominent Wizard of Oz characters. Enjoy these fun photos.

Now, moving on to our visit to Minnesota. We had a blast catching up with Nana and Pappy and revisiting some of our favorite sites.

Wabun Park kiddie pool in August. The weather turned cool when we were there, almost like it was late fall but this didn't stop Jackson from doing what he loves - running in the water. Remember Jackson's first visit in 2009! And then again in 2011 with Conner!

MN Children's Museum visit is a must, especially when there is a Curious George exhibit. Excitement overload!

"Mom, look at me! I'm a turtle. Take my picture" - pretty much the exact words coming out of Jackson's mouth.

Remember the video's I posted back in August of Will dancing to YMCA? What can we say, the boy likes to get down.

Choo choo Bob's made the list for this visit. We love the way Pappy and Will are both saying "choo, choo!"

Minnehaha bikes. It looks like Will is enjoying the ride but he isn't. Jackson loved his first ride (you have to scroll down a bit).

early summer recap

Summer was off to a quick (and hot) start. Visited the Lincoln Park Zoo, celebrated Will and Mommy's birthdays, enjoyed the warm weather, went to the museum, had visitors, Jackson finished his first year of pre-K, and played hard.
