We would like to finally introduce William James Bouressa to the ... um, blogging world. We know you all have received the great news about baby Will but still wanted to post a few pics of our newest family member. Will was born on May 14th at 3:44 am weighing in at 8 pounds and 4 ounces and measuring 21 inches. This labor was very different from the first - 1, made it to 37 weeks, 2, water broke at home, 3, the on-call midwife rocked, and 4, Will was delivered standing up. It was amazing, just like when Jackson entered the world.
Jackson is a great big brother. He loves helping with diaper changing and retrieving Will's pacifier and placing it gently back in his mouth. He hasn't show a bit of aggression, which doesn't surprise at the very least. He will start to "pretend" cry when Will is crying. Of course he's hoping to get attention. This usually subsides if we explain that he is a big kid and knows how to use his words instead of crying/whining.

Will is a great baby. He smiles a lot in his sleep and is very grunty with his voice. Does he cry? Absolutely. I think what Tony and I need to realize is that Jackson rarely cried for very long, which was a result of his personality but also a result of us having the time to hold him and having a quiet environment. With 2 kids you just can't have that. Jackson makes it very easy - he usually is very patient and understanding when Will needs attention. Will loves listening to Jackson play. And Jackson loves talking to Will. "Will, its time to go to the playground" or "Will, you like your playmat?" or when we're in the car "don't cry Will. We are almost home." This makes us very happy!
