On Feb 7th Jackson celebrated his 5 month birthday with a new highchair! We've starting giving Jackson rice cereal for the past week or so. Not only does Jackson love his highchair but he actually seems to like solids. He loves to grab our hand/spoon and feed himself. We will soon start other solids and will be sure to document the many faces that accompany each new dish!
Jackson in his new chair and loving it! We love the highchair. There is definitely room for him to grow (just look how the chair engulfs him) and it is super sturdy and is gender neutral!

I know this is a bit late but here are the photos of Jackson in his Obama attire. We watched the inauguration together (I have to admit it was the first I've ever watched completely). We cheered and waved good-bye as Bush left on the chopper and cried at the swearing in of President Obama. Although, Jackson had a dirty diaper --- "time for a change" right Rube! My cousins Rubrick and Sophie bought Jackson the cutest tee with a print of a baby needing a diaper change and appropriately tagged with "Time for Change". Thanks Rube, Sophie, and Carolyn for the great baby attire!
Jackson and I visited Daddy at work last week and had a blast. We enjoyed fine dining at the Courtside Cafe and saw the classroom where all the magic happens. Daddy teaches CPR/First Aid -- teaching others to break ribs, create gastric distension and wrap ankles!
